A very fine antique silver cigar cutter, in the form of a stag's head. The realistically modelled stag with open mouth and large sweeping antlers. The body is made from antler, partially overlaid with silver leaves and acorns. At the opposite end to the stag's head is the cigar cutting mechanism. Hallmarked with the Austrian dog's head mark. With maker's mark WB, probably for Wenzel Brezina. A very handsome piece
