A very fine antique Austrian silver cigar cutter. One end realistically modeled as a dog's head with red garnet eyes. The rest of the cutter is made up of intertwined acorns and oak leaves. At the opposite end to the dog's head is the cigar cutting mechanism. Hallmarked towards the cutter end with Austrian "dog head" hallmark. Also marked with maker's mark WB, probably for Wenzel Brezina. Further marked to inside of one ear with another "dog head" mark. A very handsome and fine quality piece.
