An attractive Irish silver tureen dating to Dublin, 1828. Of circular form, standing on a square base. The body with attractive engraved cartouche. Flanked by a pair of lion ring swing handles. The tight fitting removable lid surmounted by an urn finial. Fully hallmarked to the base for James Le Bas, Dublin 1828. A handsome, well proportioned piece of Irish Georgian silver.
Condition
In antique condition with expected wear. Minor dings as well as expected surface wear throughout. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
