A beautiful French silver plated tea set, make by Christofle, circa 1925. Consisting of a tray, a teapot, a coffee pot, a sugar bowl and milk jug. Beautifully decorated throughout in Art Nouveau style featuring sycamore seeds. All pieces stamped for Gallia, Christofle.
The tray stamped with the pattern number 4499. The other piece stamped with the number 4643. A really beautiful set and a wonderful example of the Art Nouvea style.
Condition
In antique condition with some just expected wear. There are minor dings and general surface wear throughout. Some rough areas, possible corrosion, to the tray (see pic 11.).
Dent to bottom rim of coffee pot. Interior of teapot with some discolouration from use. Maker's marks are clear and legible.
