Antique Russian / Austrian Solid Silver Cigar Cutter - Dog- Circa. 1900
A very fine antique silver cigar cutter, in the form of a dog's head. The beautifully modelled dog with open mouth and red eyes. The rest of the cutter is made up of intertwined silver oak leaves and acorns. At the opposite end to the dog's head is the cigar cutting mechanism. Hallmarked with what appears to be an Austrian hallmark to one side and ear. Also marked with Russian import stamp, dating the piece between 1899 - 1908. A very handsome piece, of excellent quality throughout.
