A fabulous, early Victorian silver statue made in London, 1855.
Modelled by renowned silversmith John Samuel Hunt, nephew of Paul Storr.
A beautiful piece, featuring a classical figure resting on a rocky outcrop.
In her hand, the robed woman holds a garland of flowers.
Beside her, leaning against the rock, is a cornucopia filled with various fruits.
There appears to be a section missing from the side of the cornucopia, so
the piece was probably cut from a larger group of figures.
Hallmarked near the base for John Samuel Hunt, London, 1852.
Additionally marked with import hallmark for the Netherlands
A beautifully modelled piece of Victorian Silver.

Condition
Generally in good antique condition, with expected wear.
Section missing from cornucopia.
Probably originally part of a larger piece.
Base is not original, has some chips and a hole drilled to side.
Hallmarks clear and legible, without city mark.
Overall a well preserved piece.
