A very attractive silver bowl, dating to Birmingham 1907. Made by the Duchess of Sutherland's Cripples Guild. A very attractive bowl, very much in the Arts & Crafts style. With a hammered finish throughout, the body embellished with swags and girdles. With twin handles, standing on a spreading circular foot. Hallmarked to the side for Birmingham 1907. Maker's mark for The Duchess of Sutherland's Cripples Guild. Quite unusual to find in this size in solid silver.
Condition
Good antique condition, with expected wear. Normal minor dings and surface wear throughout. Silver is somewhat discoloured in places. Doesn't stand completely straight. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
