A very handsome novelty silver Dressing Jar. Glass body with straight sides and star-cut base. The hinged lid taking the form of an owl's head. Fully hallmarked for Sampson Mordan, London 1897. A very attractive piece of novelty silver.
Condition
In antique condition with expected wear throughout. A couple of flea bits to the glass. Exterior may have been gilded, now mostly rubbed away. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
