A fabulous, early Victorian silver statue made in London, approx. 1862.
Modelled by silversmiths Stephen Smith and William Nicholson.
A beautiful piece, featuring a partially dressed classical female figure.
In one hand the woman holds a caraffe, in the other a goblet.
The figure is depicted in the act of pouring from the caraffe.
Hallmarked near the base for Stephen Smith and William Nicholson, London.
There is no date letter, but this maker's mark was only used 1851 - 1862.
A beautifully modelled piece of Victorian Silver.
Condition
In good antique condition, with just expected wear.
Base is probably not original.
