An outstanding Gorham silver ewer dating to approx. 1880. Of very large proportions, measuring 39cm in height. With all-over repousse decoration featuring flowers and foliage. With vine-form handle and a beautifully detailed spout. The central cartouche engraved with initials below a mythical beast. Stamped to underside:
