A rare and beautiful silver hip flask made by Gorham circa. 1890. In the aesthetic style, the flask takes the form of a large clam shell. Further adorned to one side with a crab and seaweed in the Japanese taste. Marked to base with Gorham hallmarks as well as Sterling, 110 and Q. A fabulous and very rare piece of novelty Gorham silver.
Condition
In generally good antique condition. There are shallow dents to the body. Minor dings to the cap. Expected surface wear throughout.
