Georgian Solid Sterling Cream Jug
Description
A fantastic George III solid silver cream jug dating to 1783.
Of urn form, featuring a tall scroll handle.
With partial fluting above and below an applied double girdle.
Standing on three reeded legs with paw feet.
The top of each leg features a beautiful mask of Medusa.
Fully hallmarked for London 1783.
Maker's mark is partially rubbed, possibly Thoms Pitts.
A particularly handsome and well made piece of silver.
Condition
In antique condition with just expected wear.
Minor dings, scratches and surface wear throughout.
