Large Antique Georgian Solid Sterling Silver Serving Dish / Bowl. London, 1794
An attractive George III solid silver lidded dish. Executed in typically restrained Georgian style. With straight sides and reeded rim. The domed lid surmounted with basket finial. The lid also engraved with a fabulous royal crest. Fully hallmarked for John Edwards III, London 1794. An very handsome piece of Georgian silver.
Condition
In antique condition with expected wear. Quite a few minor dings throughout. Also with scratches and surface wear throughout. Bulge to the bottom of the dish. Some minor splits around one handle (see pic. 8). Hallmarks to underside are clear and legible.
