A handsome Chinese export silver tea caddy. Of tapered, rounded rectangular form with canted corners. With orange-peel panels and a vacant cartouche. Hallmarked to underside for NANKING and 850 silver. Further stamped with two chop marks. A handsome piece of export silver.
Condition
In good antique condition with expected wear. There is a approx. 7mm split at one point (pic. 9). Minor and surface wear throughout. Hallmarks are all clear and legible.
