A beautiful pair of French solid silver mounted cut glass claret jugs. With globular glass bodies and cylindrical necks. The ornate silver mounts pierced with overlapping foliage. Maker's mark to base of both pieces for Pierre Queille, Paris. Additionally stamped with retailer's mark for Pardonneau et Daumesnil. Stamped to lids, neck and base with Minerva head. A beautiful pair of claret jugs from a top maker.
Condition
Good antique condition with expected wear. Surface wear, including dings and scratches, throughout. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
