A wonderful and quite rare solid silver 'recipe' cocktail shaker. It is very unusual to find one of these recipe shakers in solid silver. A large and heavy shaker (635 g.) it is of typical tapered form. Shaker disassembles into 3 pieces, the base, the lid and the cap. Around the body there are 12 cocktail names engraved above a central sleeve. The central sleeve twists and a window reveals the recipe for one of 12 cocktails. Cocktails listed are as follows: Mocca Flip, Sportsman Milk, Orange Blossom, Side Car, Silver Streak, Stinger, White Lady, Alexander, Bacardi, Between the Sheets, Bronx, Clover Club Hallmarked to all three pieces for 835S with a lion passant. A very unusual and stylish piece of Art Deco silver.
